Kelsey Montague - International Street Artist

Kelsey is an artist interested in exploring how public art, interactive art and social   media intersect. She believes that art should not be separated from the human experience. Instead the human experience should have a hand in creating the art itself.

In an effort to achieve this goal Kelsey created the #WhatLiftsYou campaign. She creates large scale, interactive street murals around the world. Each piece provides an opportunity for people to become a living work of art’ by stepping into an art piece that ‘lifts you up.’ Participants are then encouraged to post pictures with the work on social media under the hashtag #WhatLiftsYou. Her art has been mentioned in the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, The New York Times and the Smithsonian Magazine. Kelsey has done street artwork for Taylor Swift, Universal Studios, Instagram and the NFL among others. 

                With over 147,000 followers Kelsey uses her Instagram (@KelseyMontagueArt) to explore how art should lift us up on a daily basis.
